Mahjong Solitaire

Frequently asked questions

What is Mahjong Solitaire?

Mahjong Solitaire is a tile matching game published by Omni-Lord. Tap a free tile, then tap its match, to remove the pair. A tile is free when nothing sits on top of it and at least one of its sides is open. Clear the whole board to finish. Every deal is generated to be winnable and then checked by an independent solver, so a dealt game can always be finished.

How does the daily challenge work?

The same date deals the same layout and the same game on every device. The layout rotates by date through the five layouts, and a new challenge starts at your local midnight. Winning the daily challenge builds your daily streak.

How do the difficulty tiers differ?

Gentle (Cross and Ring) starts with the fewest tiles blocked, Classic (Steps and Pyramid) sits in the middle, and Challenge (the Wall) starts with only 16 of its 80 tiles free. Ring is the one two layer layout; the others stack three layers.

What do Hint, Undo, and Shuffle do?

Hint outlines a matching free pair, Undo puts the last removed pair back, and Shuffle re-deals the tiles still on the board into a new position the solver verifies as winnable. All three are free and unlimited.

Does Mahjong Solitaire need an account or a connection?

No. There are no accounts, and the game is fully playable offline. Your settings and your record are stored only on your device, and a game in progress is never saved.
